Long time past since my last post here... I was intrigued when I saw the leaked pictures with the new United kits for the 2012-2013 season, and tried a different approach, but using the tartan feature as on the real one.
Two versionof the home kit, with white shorts and with black shorts (for away games vs teams wearing all white kits):

An all black version for the away games, can be used vs teams wearing red and white jerseys (Arsenal, Stoke City):
